We conduct a check of the rights with the issuing state or territory’s transport authority or plate marketing company This is automated in some states and can take up to 24-hours in others. Once verified your listing will display a Verified Plate badge.

Tip: Plates are always the property of the state or country where they’re registered. What you’re really transferring is the ‘Right to Display’ that unique combination of characters.
